Skinny-fat are those that have very little muscle definition but have fat reserves around their mid section. I was skinny-fat in 2004. The only way I got to my present physique, by way of burning this fat off. Science says that the best method to burn off fat is not by exercise but by calorific deficit. So, drop your calorie intake, esp. fat and carb calories to see a difference in your body composition.
…unless of course you have been a marathon runner or lifting weighs for a long time and you are still skinny! Then this is not the right advice for you.
Studies have tested moderately obese and severly obese women for BMI, lactate, HDL cholesterol, and exercise duration and found that the main factor in reducing body fat was calorie restriction alone.
